The complainant said that on January 15, 2020, he acquired a name from one unknown quantity and callers supplied to ship items in opposition to the reward factors on his bank card. He was requested to deposit the quantity of Rs eight,970 in a selected account which he did as per the route of the tele-caller.
After fee of the mentioned quantity, nothing was paid to him and when the complainant repeatedly referred to as on mentioned cellular quantity, no response was given to him and he was blocked by that exact quantity.
The police have seized Rs 6 lakhs from the accounts of accused individuals, 5 cellphones, two cordless phone units, 4 laptops, 12 pretend SIM Playing cards, six ATM playing cards, eight pretend financial institution accounts.
An FIR has been lodged within the matter and additional investigation into the matter is underway. (ANI)
